PSYCH 504 Week 5 DQ 3
We read in our textbook this week how the field of evolutionary psychology has tried to assess whether male and female brains are different. We learned that research studies have found contradictory evidence. If male and female brain differences do exist then they should be universal. Studies have demonstrated differences between cultures, which suggest that biology may not be the only determinant of sex differences.
What do you think evolutionary psychology tells us about sex differences?
What other factors besides biology may play a role in sex differences?
